Compost Toilet: Project 1 March 2010 - Progress Page
Our Finished Ladies Compost Toilet! Opened by our EX Chairman on 24th July 2010.. Thanks to everyone who were involved in this project.
It looks very smart!
Clearing work is currently underway at the main car park entrance at South Parks Allotment for the installation of a Compost Toilet.
Much work is needed to clear the bank of soil and general rubbish burried underneath, tyres, glass and metal poles have all been found. It's still in the early stages of the project but nonetheless it's underway.
It's a very exciting time for the New Committee to get this project off the ground for the benefit of all members on South Parks Allotment.
We could do with a helping hand, if you have any spare time to help clear the rubble and soil bank please let us know or just pop down to see what we are doing. Many hands will help bring forward the Opening of the toilet.
Most of the soil that is being removed will help restore the rutted path of C Section to its former glory, this will have Grass seed laid later in Spring.
