Excellent "Allotment" film on BBC2 on Friday night

Hello everybody,

Just been browsing the Radio Times and just spotted a film that is on BBC2 next Friday at 9.00pm .

It's called "Grow your Own", and is set on an allotment in the North of England and is a very interesting story. It gives an insight into Allotment life in the North of England, but is much more than that. Keep a handkerchief handy if you watch it, cause there are other issues involved in the story.

The Allotment Politics are particularly interesting (are they ever anything less?), but it is a very, very good watch and I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone. We have shown it to non-allotmenteers and they, too ,really enjoyed it. These English films are so much better than these boring Star-studded American Blockbusters.

Watch it if you can, but if you read this too late, it's available from Torquay Library.
